The Teachers Table

Are you passionate about teaching the scriptures in a way that brings them to life? Do you have a desire to inspire and help others mature and grow? Are you able and willing to donate time, resources, networking opportunities, and prayer to support the Teaching Ministry, even if you don't wish to become a Teacher yourself? Would you like to help increase and enhance the teaching and preaching resources available to our region of churches? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

This year, we are thrilled to introduce the Regional Teaching Ministry for the Carolinas and East GA - The Teachers Table. We are inviting all disciples of Jesus who have a gift or desire to teach and anyone who wants to support the Teaching Ministry in any way, to come together in a vibrant community where we can learn and grow with each other.

We want to identify prospective teachers from a variety of backgrounds and roles. Our goal is to engage a broader audience from all aspects of teaching. Whether you're a Bible Talk leader, someone who wants to enhance their personal Bible study, a family group leader, a teen leader, a New Christian class teacher, a children's ministry class teacher, or someone who teaches at midweeks or Sunday services - we want you all to attend!

Furthermore, we encourage those with specialized knowledge, such as academics with higher degrees in theology or spiritual disciplines or a doctoral degree in any area, to join us. Everyone with a gift or desire to teach, and those who enjoy in-depth learning, can significantly contribute to our teaching ministry. Additionally, if you are interested in supporting the teaching ministry financially or through volunteering, we wholeheartedly welcome your participation!

We are having an Introductory Brainstorming Meeting on Saturday, August 26, 2023, to introduce the Teaching Ministry and to brainstorm with all of you so that we can plan future training and teaching sessions that best meet the needs of our region. The meeting will be held in two Zoom sessions: the North Carolina Churches will meet on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11:00am, and the South Carolina and Eastern Georgia Churches will meet on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 1:00pm.
